Smart Solutions was founded in 2012 by Frederick Verhelst in Izegem, West-Flanders, and quickly became the reference for companies facing temporary capacity problems. Today, they have five business units, spread over four locations, which means that they have nine branches in Flanders. Their employees are ready to support clients from industry, engineering, ICT, experts, and finance on a daily basis. They currently outsource more than 350 people at Smart Solutions and they continue to grow. They were elected Trends Gazelles in both 2018 and 2019, which were nice awards for their hard growth.
One of the challenges Smart Solutions faces on a daily basis is to be able to communicate proactively with customers and employees. We have a hellish traffic network in Flanders, which has a direct impact on the employees who cross the entire country to share their knowledge and expertise. By consulting Traxgo’s services, Smart Solutions can inform customers when employees are stuck in a traffic jam or when they are only a few minutes away from their workplace. Traxgo’s software is also used to accurately control the vehicle fleet, so that Smart Solutions employees, for example, can be proactively notified for a check-up at the garage.
Smart Solutions is going all the way. In the future, the intention is to use the Traxgo software even more in day-to-day operations, to further improve efficiency and thus save time and money.
